Dr Mastrangelo is the owner of Veterinary Housecall Practice, established in Staten Island in 2002. Veterinary Housecall Practice provides quality, compassionate medical care for your animals in the convenience of your home. All routine vaccinations and wellness care, as well as diagnosis and treatment for most medical conditions can be performed in your home, eliminating the stress of a hospital visit.
Dr. Mastrangelo's practice philosophy is to be the "family doctor for your pet". She will spend time with your pet, providing quality medical care and time with you to answer any concerns or questions you may have about your pet's medical condition.
"Housecalls offer a much more personal client relationship", Dr. Mastrangelo says. "Observing a relaxed pet in their home environment can provide important information regarding their care".
Dr. Mastrangelo also believes that euthanasia, a difficult and painful decision, is much more peaceful performed in the home rather than in a hospital setting.
Dr. Mastrangelo is expanding her practice to include the Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights areas in Brooklyn. She can see your at Dogs Den Doggie Daycare while staying at the facility if that is more convenient than a housecall.

Dr. Lynn Marie Mastrangelo received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University in 1996. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Rutgers University. Prior to becoming a veterinarian Dr. Mastrangelo was a NYS licensed Veterinary Technician. She obtained her technician license in 1983 and worked in large hospital such as the Animal Medical Center in NYC and in various private practices. As a veterinarian Dr. Mastrangelo practiced in several private hospitals and served as the assistant medical director of a large 24 hour hospital on Staten Island. In 2002 she established Veterinary Housecall Practice. This unique Staten Island practice provides wellness and medical care for animals in the convenience of the owners home.
